The room was modern, well-decorated, and had plenty of power sockets. The staff at Trethorne Hotel & Golf Club were excellent, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
The breakfast selection could be improved, as it took a while to be served and seemed to prioritize regular customers.

we stayed at the hotel for one night and we like it.there is enough space in the room/no.16/ for 2 children to play if there is bad weather.big bathroom with shower and the bath. Also when we get in, the heating was on. Food is fair for the money you spend on and the breakfast also ok/ full english if you like it/+ v.good coffee, good parking space.there also is big farm childrens play ground area,we haven't use because of the weather.
just few minor things:mouldy silicone around the shower tray, outside door we couldn't close and our door had a loose doorstoper so you can see through.

Easy to reach off A30
The room was very poor for the price. It was very noisy and everything could be heard from other rooms. The beds were very cheap and uncomfortable and there was only luke warm water (for the shower)

We had a wonderful stay at Trethorne! Our room was newly decorated and immaculate. The modern interior and comfortable bed made for a lovely stay. The staff were kind and helpful, and the restaurant served amazing food for both dinner and breakfast. The location was great, and we enjoyed exploring Cornwall and Devon. The kids loved the separate bunk bed area in our family room. We even appreciated that they welcomed our dog. Definitely a delightful experience!
Totally recommend this hotel.

rooms were too close to the main road, very noisey and headlights were a constant annoyance as no blind on the door.

We had to change our room - this was done quickly and efficiently. Excellent evening meal, and breakfast was good too. Second room we had was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff, on the whole, were helpful.
The Manor House - it was too far away from the main hotel, we felt quite isolated there. Little security during the day, anyone could walk in. Our room was supposed to be "Deluxe", but when we complained we were told it was being down-graded to "Character" - much more appropriate!

We enjoyed the stay from the moment we parked the car, friendly staff & nice room is all we ask which we got.
Only one thing I could moan about is the room was a little too warm for me with no easy way of turning the heating down I could see.

I have stayed here i think 4 times this year, the staff are very friendly and i like the rooms which are always clean and spacious. The location is just off the main A30 which i find idea for a overnight stay on my way to St Austell which is only about 35 minutes away. The rooms are in cottage style bungalows set in the grounds a short walk from the main clubhouse/reception which personally i like. The warm welcome and excellent customer service i recieve here is brilliant and better than many large hotel chains that i use where you are just treated like cattle quite frankly.Highly recommened !

I recently stayed at a charming hotel near Launceston and had a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a cozy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel offered a delicious dinner and breakfast with generous portions at a reasonable price. What stood out the most was the friendly and helpful staff who made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a busy evening, they were attentive and organized. The hotel also had a unique feature of bunk beds in the room, making it a great choice for families. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future.
